Today November 30th our team GFPC played the final round for the Battle of the Forums on Bwin and we were all
excited and pumped up ready to go. We were hoping to win or come the money as it was 60K in prizes.
However the Poker Gods were not with us today, but we still had a great time and enjoyed watching our team do battle with all the forums on the net.

There players qualified during a $5.50 buy in on bwin to get into this event. And prepared daily for this super event.

Our first victim of the evening was TheNic77 who made an all in bet after 3 limpers, got called by AK.  The flop had him up as no Ace or King hit the flop, however the turn brought the miracle card Ace for the opponent to take him out.
He finished in 56 place. Next Chantalan  seemed to be going good until she had a disconnect, and lost 4/5th of her stack due to a sit out and disconnect. Next hand she moved all in and got booted in 51st spot.

SuzzieWong the team Captain, made some wild plays and had her stack dwindled to about 6-7 BBs so she called an all in bet from the big blind with a King Queen. This ended up as a three way pot with the other two players having an Ace.
Right off the bat the Ace hit, and she was quickly rejected in 24th spot.

Our fate was now sealed with 2 players, of which Bellevuescfc made an incorrect call in one had and lost almost all his chips.
Next hand he was dealt AJ and walked into a coin flip with 99. 9's helpd and he was out  in 17th.

By this point, we had no chance to win the event, but stil had honor. Jabokings, a very active member of GFPC said he would do his best to final table, but just could seal the deal. he lasted the longest and was ousted in 15th spot.

After the event we all laughed and had a great time, and promised to do better next year. We were proud of them, and enjoyed  watching them play this event.

Bwin has become an extremely good site to play over the years, as some of the promotions are just amazing. Just our $200 freeroll will be coming up in 3 weeks on December 19th, as well as our Poker League.
