10$ tournament 9 may 2008, 17:30

I (tatjariodi3) started playing this tournament with 350 opponents and played very tight.

In the start of this tournament I used Hansen's points-system;

in early position you have to have at least 24 points, in middle position 21 points and in late position you can play what ever hand you like.(the Ace is 14 points, King 13 etcetc.)

I didn't get strong hands so I didn't play many hands. At the first break (after 1 hour) I hadn't even doubled up, only got to 2200 points (started with 1500).

After the break I got QQ, which is a scary hand to me because I lose it 90% of the time; I always call it "the set-up hand"because I usually run into KK or AA when ik get them LOL.

Fortunately I doubled up against JJ this time. At the second break (after 2 hours) I got to 5000 points, which was under average, so now it was time to play looser.....By the way, it's always funny to see people go All-In everytime in the last hand before the break...they quickly want to double up then but more often get kicked out of the tournament; so be careful in that last hand before the break.

Now there were about  50 players left, the blinds got puirdy high so I started to pick up the blinds by going All-In if there were players left in the hand that are easily pushed out of the pot(if I see people fold very easy if someone raises I use this against them).

Finally made it to the Final Table just after the third break, so I have been playing for three hours already. Now my luck's changing, I get really strong hands often and from the 10 persons at this table I kick 4 of them out of the tournament.
I am Chipleader so I start to push the other two around, go All-In often (they've seen my strong hands at this table and are a bit scared). I go All-In again , this time with AK suited, and one of them couldn't take my going All-In's anymore and called with Q4(4 of spades). On the Flop there were 3 spades and on the river the fifth one!!!!

Now I'm no longer leader and at one point I get QQ (remember my set-up hand?), they both call my All-In and I lose to a pair of Aces. So instead of winning 1300$, I won 475$.

Too Bad, but I've made it to the final table 2 times now and I WILL WIN SOMETIME !!
