With great regret we must inform all our players and the Poker Community that Luck3 Poker are a scam. Yes that is right. They are scammers. Not only did that not pay their own staff wages for at least 2 months based on inside sources who worked with them, but they also have also not paid affiliates who send them players.

There are some reports of players not able to cash out as well and we strongly urge everyone to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM LUCK3 POKER AND CASINO. They are not honoring any debts they incurred and Cake Poker Network has turned off their poker site. They do however still run a casino platform and are still taking bets from players.

Much more news on this can be seen in the following threads online below :

The tournament started out with 201 players.
In the beginning I didn’t get a lot of face cards, so played very little hands.
After the first break my stack was average, had only doubled up once with JJ.
No I started to get nice hands, my patience payed off fortunately.

I built my stack up to 15000 chips and was the chipleader at this point.
I get QQ, as I in my previous article called “the set-up hand”( Every time I get this I’ve got AA or KK against me).
I raise very big, because I didn’t want to see a flop with my QQ(pure bad luck hand for me LOL).
one guy just calls, after the flop(with only low cards) I raise to 7000(his All-In) and he calls instantly with….KK !!!!

So from 15000 to 8000 Chips…..now there are 35 players left, the bubble(pay-out) is at 20 so I start playing ULTRA-Tight again.
With 6000 At the button I go All-in with 33(players before me only limped and folded).
A player next to me calls with 56 suited(?????) and I double up to 15000 again.

Now a new player enters the table and he raises EVERY hand.
This player constantly wins on the river so we luckily get to see his whole-cards….never a hand to raise with..
clearly a maniac so I have to be careful and only play really good hands.

When there are 13 players left I have 9000 chips and get AJ(the rookie hand).
The blinds are high so I go All-In to get the blinds and the Maniac instantly calls with….A10.
I hit my J and double up again.

Now just before the final-table everybody starts to play really tight, they want to make the final table, so I start playing aggressively,
very often stealing the pot. I steal my stack up to 33000 and I’m in the Final Table.
Now I get really bad cards again… so I don’t play any hands, don’t even try to protect my blinds so my opponents think that I am an honest
player and only play real good cards. Now I get KJ suited and hit my flush draw on the flop, the Maniac instantly goes All-in.
I cannot fold my second-nut-flush draw and call. The Maniac had 1010 and was ahead but on the river I hit my K( so may outs for me to win,
almost couldn’t lose this hand ). The Maniac’s out of the game and I doubled up.

5 players left (including me) and I flop a straight, the only player who’s in the hand calls my raise.
Now I want to scare him away because I have the sucker-straight(the lowest possible straight) and he re-raises me All-In.
With so many hips in the pot I can’t fold anymore and call…..and he hits his Higher straight on the river…too bad but I won 150 $.
So, again I made the Final-table and instead of third I became fifth, SO I STILL HAVEN’T WON A TOURNAMENT AT TONY G!!!

I’ll keep playing until this happens,
Greetz Mario
PS see ya at the tables

First World Series of Poker Tournament – Article

Jandawg666’s profile

I arrived in Las Vegas, NV on the evening of June 7th, 2008, on a Saturday, and immediately found myself falling in love with the dry heat of the Nevada desert. It was a dream comes true, that I was finally going to be playing in a World Series of Poker event on the 14th and would finally get to take a shot at turning my dream of becoming a poker champion into a reality. I picked up my luggage and proceeded to take a taxi to Bellagio where I would then take a shuttle bus to my resort at the Cliffs at peace Canyon, 20 minutes from the strip. I would have to survive in Las Vegas for two weeks (7th to the 21st) and if I was to do this safely I felt that being in a place away from the strip and the action would be of great value. When I arrived at my resort, which I would recommend to any serious poker player who does want to stay at a place of refuge, away from the lights and glamour of the Las Vegas strip, it was like something out of the next James Bond movie, pool side balcony and condo, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a bar separating the kitchen and living room. It was gorgeous.

I spent my first night and couple of days in Las Vegas, taking it easy, relaxing by the pool, working out, getting groceries, and preparing myself, stamina and overall health for the serious grinding I was about to indulge in. On about my third day I felt that I was ready and felt good to make my first trip to MGM Grand where I would start out slow at a simple $1/$2 NL Hold’em ring game. This may seem very small to some people who already have large bankrolls compared to mine which was only about $6 000. Don’t be fooled though by my lack of experience in bigger games and my struggle to grind it out in the world of poker, I do have the ability to put almost any player I’ve come across on exactly the hole cards they hold. I did make more than my day job, at the time, for about a year playing part time and eventually full time. The pro(s) say that if you are able to make more than your day job for 4-6 months then there is a good chance that you have what it takes to be a professional. I did it for about 9 months or more and that would more than qualify me. So I did well at MGM, won a few hundred, and then returned to my resort.

Unfortunately, around day 5, after still being up a few hundred mostly from MGM, I started to come down with some congestion and some cold like symptoms. I took it easy for a couple more days after registering for my $1 500 NL Hold’em, WSOP event #27, at the Rio. A good friend of mine would be flying in on the night of the 12th to join me in the WSOP event. I wanted to try and get better as much as possible before then and I did feel a bit better when he arrived. We played a little at MGM and the Rio before our event and I was still not feeling great but was up a little. I was kind of worried though because my head was not in the game like it normally is due to my cold.

It was June 14th, 2008, and we were getting seated at the World Series of Poker, $1 500 NL Hold’em event #27. There was already a very ironic issue with our seating arrangements, my friend George Metaxakis and I had looked at our tickets and we were supposed to be seated at the exact same table, out of 2 700 entrants, and 270 tables we were put on either side of the dealer at Amazon Blue, table 29, seats 1 and 9. This was not something we preferred because if one of us was to take the other out, especially

So, Ive been playing online poker for about 4 years now. I first got into the game when I was playing an online RPG game where you can play poker for online currency. After learning the basic through that I started watching poker on t.v. which got me very interested in the game. Learning something new everyday, I went into playing freerolls on various sites. I was nothing special, but much better than the donkeys you see these days, but I was playing the basics more or less.. fold the band hands, call/raise the good ones. Eventually I picked up on the bluffing, fooling people, mind games etc.. But I couldn’t bring myself to deposit.

It was only then I was surfing the web and came across a website that gave free poker sponsorships . I took this opportunity of course. It was just $50, and they made me take a quiz to make sure I didn’t just donk it away, which I had no intention of doing. So I took it all in, but before I started playing I read allot of peoples blogs, articles,e-books, etc..

I started my play with some very low stakes no-limit poker. Buying in with 4% of my bankroll. Now, my first ever mistake: If you make a mistake with these chips such as; you took a bad beat or generally thought you had the better hand, DO NOT rebuy chips with 10% of your bankroll because you think the table owes you, Just suck it up and don’t let it effect your play or your bankroll management.

I played these same low limit with my bankroll for hours, sticking to the same kind of tight-passive play, after a long time of going up and down like a yoyo and leaving table when I thought I had won enough and refusing to play with so many chips, I accumulated a decent amount of profit. I then went on to play some low buy in sit n go’s; $1+20c mainly. This I did very well in! Ever since, sit n go’s have been my favorite part of online poker. Of course different people prefer different types of poker variations.

Now many years later I have made several large cash outs. I have also made many deposits on various sites, played several free bankrolls, most of which made made me allot of money, yet I still play small stakes and low buy ins. It’s slow profit and long hours but there are many benefits when playing with a small bankroll. If you play ABC poker and tight aggressive, in no time you will see your bankroll grow and see why people use bankroll managment.

As a reminder, when i sit at a cash game, I only use 4% of my stack. This gives me 25 buy ins, and allows me room to play my A game, as I never have to worry about going bust should i have a few bad beats.

Get Free Poker Cash is a great site, and has giving me the opportunity to play for them sponsoring me with some poker cash, and in return I will write some articles and play my best. I suggest many of you do the same. All you need to do is register for a free account here, choose either a no deposit bonus, deposit bonus, or poker challenge and submit articles . They are a wonderful site, which helps new players.

Good Luck everyone!

5$ rebuy tournament 21st may 2008 by Tatjariodi

third place again….

In the start of this tournament (with 182 players) I got AA, so instantly doubled up,
but in the next hand got AK, too good to be true but went All-In again.
Someone with a donkey hand called (36 spades) and hit his flush.

After another beat I had to re-buy and made it to the break where I Added-on 2000 chips.
By the way, It’s weird how people in a rebuy-tournament will go All-In with nothing the whole time and
keep re-buying and re-buying all the time !! In a Re-buy tournament I ONLY play tight so I won’t get
killed by some fishes or donkeys.

The whole game I was above average, only playing strong hands and stealing not so much.
When I finally reached the Final Table I got strong hands and kicked out 3 opponents in three hands,
and became the second in the chip lead. When there were only three left I got QQ.

In my previous articles I said that QQ is my “set-up hand”.I ALWAYS LOSE with them to AA or KK!!
But who can fold QQ three-handed? So I went All-IN straight away, didn’t want to see the flop because the blinds
were good enough for me with my “set-up hand”.
And guess what happened? I got called with KK !!! LOL !!
So again I didn’t win, became third and won 250$.

Too bad but stuff happens(three times in a row LOL !!)
But most times I play a tournament I make the Final Table so…..
I’ll keep going till I win one.
And remember if you play in a Re-buy tournament; TIGHT IS RIGHT.

See ya at the tables !!

PS when you get QQ, be afraid…..be very, very afraid !!

While we give out no deposit bonuses to all new players who are interested in building their poker careers, we have noticed some very common mistakes, and those mistakes always seem to fit the same pattern. First if your a player say for example who got a free Titan or Tony G bankroll you will get $25 dollars. Sure this is nice, and its great to get a free $25. But why stop there? So many players will sit at a table with the full $25 and take a shot. Most will go bust! This is what we don’t want for our players. We want players to be able to play well, and get the bonuses they deserve. Therefore in order to get the next level of bonuses, you will need to be patient, take our time and play smaller stakes.

One of the best methods, we noticed is when our players have either played small sit and goes , or used a short stack strategy. of most of the players who use these 2 approaches, almost all of them have been able to secure more bonuses, and good cash outs from the poker sites. We suggest you do the same thing. Play small, relax, and use bankroll management . The money will come, and for sure will we give allot more bonuses when you clear the points needed.

Videos are a great way to help players, and we are working on our own library for poker videos, but we did see a great video we did want to share with you all. This video explains the basics of short stack strategy and gives you the player an understanding of how to use the principles to be a winning player.

This video is from the website Poker Professor and they get full credit for a fine video.

Following the principles of the video is the first step in building your poker bankroll. We have used this system many times, and it has never failed, it always works. Just be patient, take your time, and simply follow the rules, and in no time your bankroll will increase to a significant level.

Once you have done this, and have a nice solid bankroll, we advise to switch to Sit and Goes. You must have at least 20 buy ins to play at a certain level, but by doing this we think you will have an edge, and have a better chance of winning, without getting to much taken from you in terms of rake.

Although we like to see you rake, we would rather you be a good player who plays along time, then a player who raked allot and busted out early. So try these methods out, watch the video, and when you get your bankroll, try them out. Even if you do not get a free bankroll, make a small deposit, it won’t hurt. Invest a little bit to your career, and see how you can do. We know this works and have many players who do. Even we do this method, and we post in our blog. Playing on Bwin for example for use is great as we keep winning the 5.50 sit and goes.

Remember: Short Stack Strategy then Sit and Goes! A profitable system. Good Luck

Poker has risen to become one of the most popular variations of gambling and it takes a lot of skill to master the game. People spend years practicing their poker faces and learning how to read their opponents and if all goes well, these people can make some serious money by playing professionally.

Online poker has become more and more popular with the advancement of technology and sites such as Betfair casino offer players the chance to test their skills against other players online. The aim of the game is simple, you need to achieve the best 5 card combination available. Within this you can choose to raise the stakes if you have a good hand, or you can fold if you believe someone else will have a better hand.

Players can win a round from a single high card to the elusive Royal Flush, a combination that is extremely rare and extremely unlikely. The Royal Flush is an unbeatable hand, so make sure the stakes are high if you ever happen to be lucky enough to have it, you wouldn’t want to miss out on such a glorious opportunity.

Although it can take years for you to perfect your game, when you eventually do reach a high enough level you will be able to make some serious money from poker tournaments.

In order to help you progress and become a great poker player, we have created the following infographic, which gives you hints and tips to perfect your game and tells you all the possible hands you can achieve in poker.
